About this site
What this site is
Grapple Cart Obby Wiki (grapplecartobby.wiki) is an independent, fan-made English guide for the Roblox game [1 & 2 PLAYER] Grapple Cart Obby by the group rng dev. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by rng dev or Roblox Corporation. The site covers exactly one game and six pages: the overview, controls, the 2-player co-op setup, hazards and the coin economy, the Hacker Blocks update watch, and this page.
The scope is deliberately narrow. Rather than padding out a forum or a news feed, each page answers one player question completely: how do the buttons work, how do you ride together, what kills you, what does the game cost you in coins, and what changed in the latest update.
Why it exists
The game's official Roblox description is empty — a literal null field in the developer API — and as of our first check (2026-09-22) no third-party guide, wiki or code site covered it. New players had nowhere written to learn the buttons, the co-op setup, or the coin economy. Everything anyone knew lived in short gameplay videos and comment threads.
The gap turned out to be temporary: by early October 2026, Sportskeeda had published a beginner's guide and several large creators (OTTER ON ROBLOX, Niz & Rex, MelonBlox) had posted runs. That didn't make this site redundant — most coverage is video-first, undated, and mixes speculation with observation. Our niche is the written, dated record: every claim on this site says where it came from and when it was checked, so you can tell a verified price from a rumor at a glance.
How facts are sourced
Every fact falls into one of three evidence tiers, and pages label which tier supports them:
- Official Roblox APIs — the strongest tier. We read the games API for visits, concurrent players, favorites, vote counts and the update timestamp; the groups API for rng dev's member count and shout; and the badges API (which returned zero badges for this game on 2026-10-03). These checks are repeatable by anyone with the universe ID (10762388019) and a browser.
- Official art and listing media — the game's icon, its five listing thumbnails and its preview video, all uploaded by rng dev. These verify what the game shows: the winch hook, the two-seat cart, the flame-spike hazards, the lava cave.
- Dated observations and footage — our own captured play sessions (mobile, English and Thai clients, 2026-09-22), plus named creator videos with their post dates when they show something we didn't capture, such as PC key bindings or a stage-seven unlock.
Anything outside these tiers is labeled Unknown on this site. We don't invent values, stage names, payout rules, or quotes — and when two sources disagree, we show both claims with their dates instead of silently picking one. Example: Sportskeeda's guide (2026-09-28) says the course has six stages; creator footage (2026-09-27) shows a stage seven. Our course section lists both.
Check dates and re-checks
Every fact carries its check date because this game moves fast. Between 2026-09-22 and 2026-10-03, visits grew from 9.7M to 24.5M, the group more than doubled to 1.8M members, the Revive price moved from 4 to 7 coins between sessions, and two updates shipped (2026-09-26 and 2026-10-02). A stat without a date on a game like this is a guess in disguise.
We re-check facts after each update the game ships. Where a page's answer depends on something time-sensitive (like the Hacker Blocks event window), the page says exactly how to recheck it yourself: which API endpoint, which listing field, or which in-game screen to look at, and what result to expect.
What we don't cover
Three things stay off this site on principle: cheats, exploits and "Hacker Block generator" scams (the update's name gets abused by fake-reward pages — there is no generator, only the in-game 60-minute rule); invented codes (a code appears here only when the developer announces it somewhere we can read); and speculative lore (the game has no story text, so any "meaning" behind Hacker Blocks would be fan-fiction, not facts). If a page can't source it, we'd rather leave the question open than fill it with something readable but made up — that's the whole deal this site offers.
Corrections and contact
Spot something wrong or outdated? That's a bug in our research, not in your game — send corrections through the contact channel. Tell us what you saw, in which server or screen, and roughly when; a dated player report is exactly the kind of evidence that upgrades a page. Read the independence and advertising disclosure for how this site is funded, and the privacy page for analytics details.
FAQ
Is this the official game site?
No — independent and fan-made. The only official channels we know of are the game's Roblox listing and the rng dev group (both re-checked 2026-10-03).
How current are the facts?
API stats were last pulled 2026-10-03; in-game UI prices were last observed 2026-09-22. Each page shows the date that governs its claims.
Why do some answers say Unknown?
Because the game ships no patch notes and its description is empty, some things — the coin earn rule, what a Hacker Block does in a run — have no verifiable source anywhere yet. We name what is known, the check method and the date, and leave the rest open until evidence exists.
Can I use your facts elsewhere?
Yes, with attribution and the check date — the dates are the point. If a price or stat changed after our check, your newer observation beats our older one; tell us and we'll update.
